What is "blighted area" a code word for? How blighted do you feel if your father tended his father's business to feed his family and eventually hand the business to you before lung cancer took him, and you've nurtured the business long past your retail neighbors all went extinct from personal and communal despair, and you've managed to survive, only now to be declared "blighted" by the city power brokers rich enough not to need work and who want to sacrifice your business by eminent domain for the next strip of national chain stores that only suck money out of the community into the pockets of non-local market gamblers?He does it so rarely.
