I'm at a crossroad coordinating mixers. I've posted a survey to find out if people are more interested in networking or listing to speakers. I'm trying not to bias anyone by inserting my opinion (even though I think it's well known). My thing is this - if people want speakers at mixers, what's the best way to achieve that? Should I solicit topics and do polls on what's the hot topic? I think it would be interesting to do a blind selection. You wouldn't know who the speaker was, just the idea. Then you would vote for the idea. Should the speaker be announced or should it be a surprise? Please click on comment below and leave your thoughts. Thanks!
