[C]ontributions will go to fund food for the Free Farmers Market at St. Paul's Church in Medina, OH. We serve from 150 to 200 family members two Saturday's of each month. Unfortunately the numbers of people coming to this food giveaway are growing and our funds to purchase and supply the food are shrinking.What that page doesn't say is what he says in his email:
Food stamp recipients are up 70% in Medina County since the year 2000. If you could find it in your heart and your pocketbook to make a donation in support of my run I PROMISE you that the money is entirely spent on food for distribution. I work the food handout personally and the entire staff is volunteers.That's one thing that's core to the events I do - helping others Ryze up. Nice work, Steve.
