Clients look for solutions

Steve Cencula, the founder of Kaleidoscope, said something that rang true today at the Interactive Design & Technologies Forum [if you weren't there today, go tomorrow. they'll be talking about what upcoming projects can use interactive design and tech!]:

"Clients don't come to you asking whether you know Flash or Dreamweaver. They come to you with problems to solve."

It was very timely for me, especially for me to pass on to my design class at LEC and also the NEOSA student chapter at JCU I'll be talking to.
