NE Ohio CrainTech | Parts of Net Still Knocked Out
The massive blackout that hit the Northeast on Thursday continued to disrupt business activity Friday morning. While certain Internet Service Providers, such as Adelphia, were back up and running, many remained without power and e-mail services were being disrupted. As of early Friday morning, Cleveland.com, the region's most popular web site, had only limited content. The web sites of Crain's Cleveland Business are back online. However, Crain's e-mail system is down and we don't yet have an estimate for when communication will be restored. We can be reached at 216-522-1383 and temporarily via e-mail at crains@yahoo.com.Kudos to Chris Thompson and the staff at Crain's for keeping it real. Not only did they make the teach happen, but they kept the email communication going. They understand how essential both services are.
