Scrap the convention center plan; Let's just set the whole downtown up with wi-fi access.Wow! There's a great idea. What if we just forgot about the whole Convention Center thing, bought some dark fiber and set up a metropolitian area wifi network? I think more people would be attracted to that then the would a stilted edifice to the industrial age that might serve as an anchor for some consumer attraction. We already have one of those called Tower City. What do you think?
