It Never Ceases to Amaze Me
[A]s one of the team who is working on the Freelink wi-fi project, I wanted to take a minute to address your concerns... It is free for you, the user. We are collecting e-mail addresses so that we can notify users if there are problems with the system, warning a user if they use too much bandwidth, and also collecting data on the number of users. There's no privacy policy yet and the registration page isn't working properly because we're still working out all the bugs. Registration only works at Star Plaza and in the immediate Theatre District area because that's where we are collecting usage data. For our part, the people on the team, including Michael Barron, myself and Todd Stuart, are trying our best to create something for Cleveland. Please feel free to e-mail me with suggestions as to how to make this project better. It's a learning process for us, so any help is appreciated.Now that I know it's Rachel and Todd, I'm totally cool with the idea. Get your butts down there and sign up!
