Disruptive Technology

OK. I realize this is a post about a post about a post. But in BFD tradition, why should I blog about it when someone else already has? Steve Goldberg (who's a WiFi advocate as well as a Bioscience one) posts about Dan Hanson's trip to The Fellowship of the Geeks. The point I want to emphasize:

Having a Wifi network and... people with wifi devices changes the whole makeup of an event.

EXACTLY! It goes from having a passive audience to one that's paticipatory and experiential. Want better meetings? Juice 'em with technology.
