Creating Positive Cleveland Energy
"To suggest something simple, I think that, instead of reacting with cynicism and skepticism to an idea, we powerfully encourage people to initially respond with, 'there could be something serendipitous here!' In other words, we would empower imagination and positive 'what ifs' as a perfectly normal and expected way to respond to an idea, as opposed to reacting with pure logic and linear thinking. Let's spend some quality time having fun, reaching for the stars, and brainstorming the possibilities. This is far different from initially reacting to an idea with 'this couldn't work here,' or 'I don't like this because I have no reference from the past to compare it to'."
