today was the first day of the Cleveland ITEC show. i manned my company's booth all day. since it was my first show, i don't have as much perspective as other people, but the comments seemed to indicate that this year is smaller than previous ones. that's fine with me. moving thru the boom and bust of the dotcoms has brought out the people who are the true believers. the dedicated individuals who have the tenacity to do the work required to be in business.

i talked to a lot of people today. i like the city i live in and the people here. i think there's really good businesses here. and i feel good about what we're accomplishing, even though things are "smaller". to be flexible, you've got to be small.
