wednesday was the power breakfast sponsered by COSE. the subject was Media Relations - tips, tools and tactics. very informative. a panel discussion of a media consultant and members of the local media. got to talk with Chris Thompson of Crain's and CrainTech. he told me that his mother and father retired to a coffee farm in Guatemala. ahhh. what a way to retire.
yesterday, was NEOSA's techthursday at the Great Lakes Brewing Company. Chris and I talked more about his mother and father's farm. he also said that they give farm tours. one of these day's i'll have to visit. also had some excellent conversations with some local people about developing the IT industry in the Cleveland area, and why things were developing so slowly. Thanks Harry, Christine, and Brad for letting me offer my two cents.
