On Wednesday, May 23 at 6 p.m. Webtego will host a community forum. Commissioner Peter Lawson Jones and Sustainability Director Joyce Burke-Jones will discuss with the community the ramifications of what is happening at the corner of East Ninth and Euclid. In the past few weeks, there has been much discussion concerning the rational for tearing down one building and constructing a new one in its place. The questions range from sustainability, embedded energy, transparency in government, efficiency and cost containment, conflicts of interest, patronage, landfills, and many, many more.
Please join us for this very important forum. The community should be there to ask questions and get answers. If you cannot make the forum, the event will be podcast by Meet.The.Bloggers and will be available at www.meetthebloggers.net within a few days so that the conversation can continue long after the actual discussion.
Details are located on www.upcoming.org.
