    One part is missing: Radical innovators are purged.

    Cleveland is great for taking what other cities were doing (and may have abandoned as ineffective) fifteen or more years ago and branding that innovation. The safe route is Cleveland’s being “A Plumb” because New York’s Apple seemed to work for more than a decade.

    Cleveland goes green because, well, more innovative cities did it long ago and the sleepier cites are now getting in on it — and we don’t want to be last.
