There’s no question that Pittsburgh is the hottest spot in our region. No fewer than seven delegations from other cities are traveling to Pittsburgh this year for regional benchmarking visits. This week over 350 leaders from Lexington and Louisville are visiting.

Other delegations are coming from Iowa, Louisiana, Alabama and Ohio (Cincinnati).

Kentucky business leaders visit Pittsburgh

Cleveland’s leadership ignores these types of study trips, and it’s hard to understand why. These visits represent the fastest, cheapest and most effective approach to building alignments and collaborations within a diverse civic leadership.
