According to the Akron Beacon Journal, Ohio led the nation in April 2010 by adding 37,300 jobs, with the state unemployment rate dropping from 11 percent to 10.9 percent.

Interestingly, Pennsylvania came in second, and New York was third on the list of job growth, with 34,000 and 32,700 jobs added, respectively.

The Cleveland Plus Marketing Alliance noted that unemployment rates remains high, but they are lower than national average in five Ohio counties. Read more here.
