Utah has launched the Utah Cluster Acceleration Partnership (UCAP).
The primary purpose of the Acceleration Strategies is to develop education and training programs to provide a skilled talent pipeline, create strategies, partnerships, best practices and leverage resources in Utah to accelerate growth in these key industry clusters.
UCAP’s first two strategies include energy and aerospace/defense.
Here is a summary of the cluster initiative that we learned about at our recent annual meeting of the University Economic Development Association.
