Micki Maynard · Announcing our News Blog: SHIFT
December 3rd, 2010
SHIFT — the news blog from Changing Gears — is now open for business.
We picked the name from your suggestions, because the word “shift” can mean many things. Shifting directions. Shifting a point of point. Shifting from old to new, from slower to faster. Shifting your feet, which we’ve all had to learn to do during this recession.
You’ll find SHIFT by clicking on the News tab at the top of ChangingGears.info. SHIFT will have the latest updates from around the region, including stories that we’re following and that are of interest to you. We’ll list what the Changing Gears team is doing. We’ll post your events, too.
If you have suggestions for SHIFT, send them to changinggears (at) umich.edu. Come back throughout the day and throughout the week.
p.s. Thanks to Jessica Naudziunis (@JessNaudziunas) for being first to suggest SHIFT via Twitter, and thank you to everyone who suggested a name.
