George Nemeth · Waterloo Speakeasy premieres 10/3
September 29th, 2009
A big thank you to my neighbor John Copic for producing this event
Join Arts Collinwood for a Casino Night fundraiser in partnership with UpStage Players at the Slovenian Home on Waterloo. This is our first joint effort with UpStage. It helps support Arts Collinwood’s programs, and also the very wonderful fact that we now have our very own youth theater company right here on Waterloo!
It’s going to be a really fun night of casino style gaming — poker, blackjack, you name it — with drinks and nosh and lots of fun prizes. If you’ve never partied in the Slovenian Home Ballroom, it’s an incredibly space. And you can come in costume! Dress the part for a speakeasy, 30s-style party.
(Don’t have costume stuff? You’ll have the opportuity to rent it there!) All for a wallet-friendly $25.
