There can be no more fitting re-inforcement for the “Clevecentric” string than this commentary from an interested, curious, knowledgeable outsider.

Those within The Matrix are famously prickly about criticism from out of town. It’s one reason they’re primarily comfortable talking among themselves. They don’t cotton to outsiders (or even insiders) who haven’t drunk the KoolAid.

A few years ago, after Peter Lewis’ famous jeremiad about Cleveland’s leadership crisis, I e-mailed a friend of mine who was a volunteer officer at GCP’s predecessor organization and asked, “”Are people hearing what he has to say, or are they dismissing him as just an old pothead who doesn’t know what’s REALLY going on?…”

I never got an answer.

I suspect that if The Urbanophile’s post IS “noticed,” it will be similarly dismissed as coming from someone who doesn’t REALLY know what’s going on.

And by the way, the guy who made the video?…He’s my godson…
