    Count me in.

see you all there–we’ll have to see if the bus still runs over there around 5, and also check to see if we have a way out when we’re done.

If anyone can clear away the fog (not easy in a county like Cuyahoga), I’m betting on George and Tim.

  4. TimFerris Says:

Ed, you’re so kind. Be advised, all of you, that there is a lot of money behind that fog machine spewing for issue 6. On that basis alone, the individual citizen of the county ought to be suspicious. One of the local alternative papers had a good headline I saw yesterday, something like “Hand over your county, and nobody gets hurt.”

Why don’t we hold all these issues to far stricter standards, i.e., complete disclosure, balanced presentation of the facts, truth, plain and straightforward language, and so forth? We are held to these standards in business and in the laws governing contracts, so why not extend the same to government issues, and strip away the politicians’ immunities in the process?
