My only issue with kayaking in Lake Erie is the sense that the boaters are not exactly responsible -- I worry I'm going to get run over by some drunken fool in a power boat. Can't actually see the bottom of the lake. 2. The water is over 6 feet deep in unknown and unknowable spots. 3. There are live things swimming around (e.g., lamprey eels).
