From Joe Pulizzi at Junta42:
Every year we hold a Easter Seals/Junta42 Golf for Autism event at Fowler’s Mill, with all proceeds going to Easter Seals Speech Therapy and Autism Services. We are looking for additional sponsors, and are in desperate need of the shirt sponsor (logo on dry fit shirt at $3k investment). We also have a couple larger sponsorships available (cocktails, opportunity sponsor). If you know of anyone that may be interested in doing some real good and getting some exposure to local business owners and corporate executives, please pass the word on. We’ll sell out at 144 golfers this year.
While there is no known cause or cure, nor one single effective treatment, autism is treatable. People with autism, at any age, are capable of making significant progress through personalized interventions and therapy; and can and do lead meaningful lives. That’s where Easter Seals comes in. Getting the right support at the earliest stage in life can help a child gain the skills he or she needs to be successful. Every penny in proceeds from the Easter Seals/Junta42 Golf for Autism event goes directly to programs assisting these children.
