George Nemeth · Cleveland’s Most Valuable Kids
October 14th, 2008
Cleveland Foodie Michelle V sent me this, which I think is an awesome idea:
Can’t make it to the Browns game tomorrow night? Company seats for the CAVS game up for grabs? Having a hard time locating someone to use your orchestra tickets for the weekend? What if you could give that ticket to a child in Cleveland who has never seen LeBron dunk or a play at the Playhouse?
Most Valuable Kids (MVK), a non-profit that provides underprivileged children with tickets to sporting and entertainment events, like the theater or orchestra, is bringing its mission to Cleveland.
MVK’s ticket exchange program collects tickets from both individuals or corporations and in return, provides them to area children in the community, 18 and under, who have never had the opportunity to experience many of the cultural and sporting events the city offers…
Help out if you can/care to.
