BFD Learning Moment: CIncinnati’s youth IT initiative

Written by: Ed Morrison
The City of Cincinnati wants today’s youth to be prepared for tomorrow’s jobs. That’s the idea behind the partnership with Dell and Uptown Consortium to launch two “IT Village” Youth Labs. Twenty area students between the ages of 12 and18 years will take a six week course designed to teach important computer skills necessary in today’s world. The IT Village Youth Lab brings together youth, technology, and expert IT and business practitioners to connect general technology knowledge into advanced practice.
