Just posted the audio of our tête á tête avec Roldo Bartimole here.

George Nemeth: Politics across the pond

Tim Russo sent me a link to a UK Labour party guy , who was in Cleveland during the 2000 election, who recently started a blog. Interesting that in a country with so few blogs, that a politician who worked with DG would start one. Probably writes it himself too, unlike most Yankee politicians.

Did anyone else notice that Morris’ column bears an uncanny resemblance to Brian Thornton’s post?

I’m not sure what JMZ’s problem is. It all makes perfect sense to me.

I’m having lunch with The Director tomorrow (at Gookie’s) and I’ll be sure to ask him about this :

Looks like Ruthie & Moe’s, the nostalgic diner that closed abruptly over the holidays, won’t reopen. Developer Ken Lurie is working to buy the property and put up a new building to house his growing Rysar Properties. He said he would be willing to relocate the old diner portion of Ruthie & Moe’s, but would demolish the structure that was added to it.

Like Ken Lurie needs more property…

Check out the picture accompanying this article . Thanks, Nix.

From Holly:

I never seem to have the time to make coffee in the morning. If I do, I either can’t find my travel mug or end up leaving it filled sitting on the kitchen table. I’ve decided to give up brewing at home and stop most every day for coffee even though it makes me late to work at… Civilization in Tremont - Love the ladies (and cute guy) that work there… or Cafe Ah-Roma…

Which begs the question, what’s your coffee routine? Lately, I’ve been adding a bit of cayenne pepper to my vac pot.
